Accommodation & Transport

Participants are encouraged to arrange their own accommodation. However, upon request, the organizers may help to arrange accommodation in hotels/guest houses close to the venue. Please click here for the conference venue and the nearby accommodation.

For international visitors travelling by aeroplane, the nearest international airport is Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and KLIA2. From airport, visitors can either take buses or KLIA Express train to KL SENTRAL, an integrated transit hub of Kuala Lumpur. From there, catch the Kelana Jaya LRT line to the nearest MRT station to the venue which can either be KERINCHI or UNIVERSITI stations. From there, visitors can take e-hailing Car Service (such as GRAB) which can bring you to the venue.

Weather

Kuala Lumpur experiences hot and humid weather with temperature between 25 – 35oC. Rain is unexpected but can occur on daily basis, particularly in the evening. Sunny days are all year round.

Language

English is widely spoken in Malaysia. Besides that, other spoken languages include Malay (Bahasa Melayu – like Bahasa Indonesia), Chinese (Hokkien/ Cantonese/ Mandarin), Tamils, Punjabi etc.

Malaysia, country of Southeast Asia, lying just north of the Equator, that is composed of two noncontiguous regions: West Malaysia, which is on the Malay Peninsula, and East Malaysia, which is on the island of Borneo. The Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, lies in the western part of the peninsula, about 25 miles (40 km) from the coast; the administrative center, Putrajaya, is located about 16 miles (25 km) south of the capital. Kuala Lumpur International Airports (KLIA & KLIA2) are the major internal airports with worldwide connection and is located 50 km to the south of the city. It is conveniently connected to KL Sentral, the main transport hub of Kuala Lumpur City by fast train (KLIA Express).
